Wound Up
Wound Up

Oil Painting 60x80cm (2017)

The majority of the human race is wound up by the System. A System that first instills fear and then provides the illusion of protection from the same fear it had previously flooded society with. A polyarchic System disguised by “democracy” and general elections. A small powerful group of people and corporations who dictate who to elect and how society must live so they can retain power. Let’s challenge them as some brave individuals are admirably doing so.

The Old Mountain

Oil on Canvas 80x60cm (2019)

This is a very special painting. I painted this after a long period of darkness where I could not hold a paint brush in my hand. I had lost all inspiration and motivation. I was scared to paint.
This painting reminds me of the special journey I shared with other 3 individuals in the Sacred Valley in Peru in June 2019. I dedicate this painting to Conny, Annika and Benjamin. Peru is truely magical and will treasure my memories of this country until my last breath.
